Valentine’s Day Photo Shoot with the Blochs
Posted on February 9, 2010
Sunday we woke to flocked trees and an overcast sky. A little chilly but a perfect day for photos. The Blochs welcomed me into their home where we took some fun Valentine’s pictures and candids with the kids. It’s always a joy to photograph patient and well behaved little models.
Magic Wake Up Call with Austin & Veronica Photoshoot
Posted on January 17, 2010
I was excited when Veronica from 95.5 called me to the studio to do a little photo shoot for her and Austin. We were limited on time and space as I set up my studio lights inside the radio studio. In between on-air time we took some fun photo booth style shots to be used for their website, Facebook and other promotions.

Zigenis Family Photoshoot
Posted on December 16, 2009
My favorite family to photograph, the Zigenis’ are a lot of fun and always up for some creative shots. Armed in ski jackets for the 30 something degree weather, they stripped them off for some quick shots with a snowy mountain backdrop. After warming up inside we brought out my leather arm chair for a couple pictures on the grass. Picture me up on a ladder with my camera and a cat toy stick tucked down my back and dangling over my head to get smiles from the baby, entertaining anyone nearby in the process.

Photography
Posted on August 16, 2009

Photography became a passion for me after the birth of my first child. Staying home with my children granted me the opportunity to capture the moments I wanted others to witness, and for myself not to forget. Having studied fine art at Sonoma State University helped me bring the artistic eye into my photography work. As an active member of the local birthing community at the time, I was surrounded by pregnant women, babies, children and birth, and I soon turned my passion into my profession.
I love photojournalistic-style photography, as it is more natural to photograph people in their own surroundings then a posed setting. I love to help tell stories and preserve the magic of a particular moment in time. I want each client to feel relaxed, comfortable and confident during our session.
